I used to wear my exhaustion like a badge. Up before everyone. Last one to bed. Always doing. Always available. Always one more thing before I could sit down. And if someone suggested I slow down or take a break, I felt it instantly. That little twist of guilt. That whisper that said: good wives…

Can I be honest with you? I used to think self-care was selfish. I thought good Christian wives poured themselves out completely, constantly, without complaint. I ran on fumes and called it faithfulness. And then I crashed. Hard. I had nothing left to give my husband. Nothing left to give God. I was resentful, empty,…

Are you always putting others first—your husband, your kids, your church—and when you finally think about your own needs, a wave of guilt washes over you? You’re not alone. Many Christian wives struggle with balancing caring for their families and taking time to care for themselves. The Bible teaches us to love others as we…

I almost gave up on my marriage. Now I help Christian wives find their way back to themselves AND their husbands.
48 years and still growing. 👇

For years I thought our differences were the probl For years I thought our differences were the problem.

Now I see them differently.

God didn’t accidentally make your husband different from you.

He designed him that way.

When we stop trying to change the design and start understanding it, everything begins to shift.

Tell me below:

What’s one difference between you and your husband that used to frustrate you?
Be sure to save this and share with another woman.

Friend, if you’ve ever laid in bed next to your hu Friend, if you’ve ever laid in bed next to your husband and felt completely alone, this prayer is for you.

Distance doesn’t always look like fighting.

Sometimes it looks like silence.

Schedules and to-do lists. Two people sharing a home and nothing else.

But God sees exactly where you are. And He is near even when your marriage feels far.

Save this. Pray it.
Share it with another woman to encourage her.

Nobody tells you that. They tell you to communica Nobody tells you that.

They tell you to communicate better. Date more. Try harder.

But nobody warns you that the person you love most will somehow surface every insecurity, every old hurt, every broken place you thought you’d buried.

That’s not a marriage problem, friend.

That’s an invitation.

I spent years thinking my husband was the issue. If he would just change; just soften, just see me, then I could finally be okay.

But God kept bringing me back to the same place.

ME.

My bitterness. My walls. My expectations he was never meant to carry.

And when I finally stopped waiting for him to fix what only God could fix?

Everything shifted.

Not because my marriage became perfect. But because I started becoming whole.

If you’re in a season where marriage feels more like a mirror than a fairytale, that’s actually God’s grace at work.
